The Climate Dynamics and Hydrometeorology Collaborative (CDHC) was established in 2008 to coordinate interdisciplinary research on hydrometeorology and climate among more than 10 units across five Colleges ( Science, Engineering, Agriculture and Life Science, Optical Sciences, and Social and Behavioral Sciences) at the University of Arizona. CDHC was a research center (Climate Dynamics and Hydrometeorology Center) for 13 years (2008-2021) with a broad mission in research, recruitment and mentoring, and outreach. To better focus on interdisciplinary research coordination only, we decide to keep "CDHC" but change "Center" to "Collaborative." After this change in 2021, CDHC is now a grassroots organization for collaboration, rather than a formal research center.
